The goal of the Art of Dance Studio is to share the love of dance with each and every student. For two generations we have strived to blend quality, technical training with individual artistry.  Expression through movement is encouraged at all levels - from those wishing to dance for recreation to those wishing to start a career in dance. The resulting gains of dance technique, poise, creativity, confidence, musicality, joy, self-discipline and friendships will remain with students for a lifetime.

Classes are available in: Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics, Acro Tech, Tiny Tumblers (3-6 yrs), Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Musical Theatre Production (7yrs+), Contemporary, Twinkle Twos (2 yrs), Terrific Threes (3 yrs) and Adult Ballet.

Our dance season runs from September to June.  Students in some disciplines are encouraged to participate in examinations, which establish the levels of their accomplishment, create goals for which to strive, and result in personal fulfilment. Ballet exams require a minimum of two classes per week; Tap, Jazz and Acrobatic exams may require one class per week.

As dance is a performing art, The Art of Dance Studio will complete the season with an exciting stage performance!*

*Even during a challenging 2020, we kept the show going from March-June as we maintained weekly classes over Zoom, then finished the season with an outdoor performance for virtual viewing! We are so proud of all of our dancers for their dedication and adaptability!
